Automatic doorman for chicken coop CHICK'A
- Detailed description
The Chick'A automatic door with hatch is recommended for protecting your chickens from predators (foxes, martens and other pests, etc.). It can also be effective in preventing roosters from crowing too early in the morning.
Controlled by a programmable timer or light sensor, this easy-to-install door allows you to manage the opening and closing of your chicken coop. You can either use the default mode, which detects ambient light using the light sensor, or opt for the programmable timer mode (12-hour or 24-hour). Of course, it is also possible to open and close the door manually at the touch of a button.
It also has an animal detection feature, which detects the presence of chickens when the door closes slowly (this feature is not activated when the door is closed manually). When the door is closed automatically and detects an obstacle, it reopens automatically and then closes. This attempt is repeated up to three times.
The materials and components used are waterproof, highly resistant and of very high quality. Operates in extreme weather conditions. The door also has a battery saving mode, with the screen turning off after 120 seconds.
The door operates with 2 AA alkaline batteries or a 5V DC adapter (not supplied, ref. 9595614001).
