The "2 in 1" energizer, ranger® AN2000 is designed as a 12 V battery unit. The battery connection cable is installed directly on the device, to be connected to any rechargeable battery. On the back of these devices has been added an additional connection for connecting an AC adapter (available as an accessory not included under the reference Ref. 9HOR47PSU0008FEU). This adapter allows the unit to operate on 230 V. Thus, if the device is connected with the adapter, and a 12 V battery, this "2 in 1" device can operate even in standby mode. If there is an interruption of the mains supply, the device continues to operate with the battery supply, and the solar panel if it is equipped with one.

6 OPERATING MODES
REGULAR : regular impulse sequence, the output power is adjustable with the potentiometer from 100% to 50%.
SMART : Regular impulse sequence, APN*.
DAY MODE: Regular impulse sequence during the day, slow impulse sequence at night, APN*.
NIGHT MODE: Regular impulse sequence at night, slow impulse sequences during the day, APN*
ECO MODE: Slow impulse sequence during the day and the night, APN*.
NIGHT ONLY: Regular impulse sequence at night, no impulse during the day, PDA*.
*APN= Automatic power level: At potentiometer or at 50% preset (for units without potentiometer). APN leads to a progressive output power, depending on the fence situation.

With the use of a solar panel, battery recharging is less frequent.
